Yvonne’s Kitchen has become a beloved cornerstone of Tottenham, bringing the vibrant flavours and warm spirit of West Africa and the Caribbean right to your plate. It all began with one formidable cook, born and raised in Nigeria, who built her reputation on the kind of food that takes patience: pots simmered for hours, spices ground fresh, nothing rushed and nothing compromised.
When her brothers brought their own love of Caribbean cooking into the mix, the two traditions didn’t compete, they combined. West African heat met island spice, and a fusion was born that you simply won’t find anywhere else in London. We believe great food starts with great ingredients, and we pride ourselves on creating dishes that keep people coming back.
What started as a mobile takeaway grew entirely through word of mouth, until the demand was enough to open these doors properly on the High Road. Beyond the food, we’re equally known for the welcome. Every customer is treated like family, and that warmth, alongside the cooking, is what has made Yvonne’s Kitchen a true North London favourite.
